Don’t get me wrong, I’m very much looking forward to chomping down on some tasty dead bird on Thursday. Almost as much as I’m looking forward to all the turkey sandwiches I’ll get to enjoy in the aftermath.
But I think attending this event is more in keeping with the spirit of the holiday…
well…okay, the pilgrims were all a bunch of tight-ass puritans who would probably have burned me at the stake for the types of things I’ll be confessing to being thankful for…
but screw it, its a revisionist holiday just like most every other American celebration.
Whether our forefathers would have approved or not, I’m going to this on Tuesday and you’re welcome to join me:
EROTIC SEATTLE EDUCATION SALON
Tuesday November 20th
Erotic Seattle Education Salon: “Gratitude”
Dinner @ 6:00 pm, Salon @ 7:00 pm-9:00 pm FREE!
Capitol Club 414 E Pine St (Cross Street: Bellevue Avenue)
Our November topic for the ESE Salon is gratitude. What kind of sexual
and BDSM experiences have left you grateful? Come on down and we’ll
talk about it! We will meet in the little side room to the right when you
first walk in. Come early at 6:00 pm and join Allena Gabosch & Teri
Ciacchi for a bite to eat before the discussion begins.
Erotic Seattle Education Sexuality Salon Discussions occur the third Tuesday of every
month in Capitol Hill. A salon is an open facilitated discussion focused
on a specific topic. Each Sexuality Salon will be focused on a different
aspect of Sex (bet you already figured that out eh? ) Salons will
start at 7pm and end at 9pm and are open to all people. If you are a person
that has difficulty with diversity or passionate conversation you may
not want to attend.
Here’s a link to the Capitol Club, one of my favorite Seattle restaurants, in case you need more incentive:

These chats are always a lot of fun and are yet another way to get to know folks in the Seattle kink community. You don’t need a membership, just an open mind, and a willingness to share your own experiences.
Hope to see you there!
